Its no secret that we are massive Glitch Mob fans…we’ve seen many edIT/Glitch Mob shows, and we’ve definitely rocked out at them all. Today they just came out with this absolutely brilliant light infused video for “Beyond Monday”, a re-working of their now famous “Monday” remix into “Drive It Like You Stole It”, a new track. This is so great. Nice work Mr. Brandon Hirzel! MRI Salutes you (and The Glitch Mob, of course).

In my internet travels, I randomly came across this video of our friends in The Canon Logic doing their song “Delia” across the Brooklyn Bridge, and I loved it…reminded me of those awesome “Take Away Shows”.
Speaking of the Take Away Shows, this one is an MRI favorite…
Not necessarily lightpainting related, but we love The Canon Logic so….yup.

Hey Everyone.
Welcome to 2009. Whatever happened in 08 has been officially wiped clean, replaced with an odd number, and turned on its ear. We hope sincerely that your 2009 is as bright as it should be. Just a heads up that we are working on some cool stuff, including a cool valentines day project so stay tuned.
To tide you over, here are a few images we made for Ryan to give to his Mom and Sister as Xmas gifts. The first is for Mom, who is a huge Beatles/Lennon fan (hence the “imagine”) and the second is a Jack’s Mannequin logo for the little sister, who loves the Jack’s Mannequin (so does Ryan, but don’t tell anyone). We used stencils for the letters and the Jack’s Mannequin logo and we are loving the results.

The wonderful folks over at WebUrbanist just added a larger feature on Lightpainting. MAN, there is some great stuff in there. The thing I like about lightpainters is that our work inspires each other. Sure, there is a little friendly competition to come up with the coolest looking images, but its a healthy thing, that I know pushes me and Michelle to do something special every time we shoot.
