So, Michelle and I are speechless…our NPR Science Friday video just went up on their site, and we couldn’t be happier. They actually made us look cool! Imagine that! Really though the video is unbelievable and provides some actual scientific insight into our work. Cameras have no inhibition. Enjoy and thank you SO much to Flora and the Sci Fri team!
Stay tuned for some awesome valentine’s day images!
Just stumbled across another feature of our stuff. This time the love comes from Toxel.com. They chose to feature a piece we did for 12v Spotlight called “Blinder”. Its a great shot, but its funny, the stuff that appeals to different people. This blog post seems to be more focused on cleaner, simple lightpainting shots. Ask Michelle, and she will tell you that “Blinder” is not one of her most favorite shots, but yet, its the one that a lot of people respond to. Just goes to show you that once it leaves the artist’s mind’s eye, its up for grabs.
Anyway, in further interweb news, this piece made the front page of Digg a few hours ago, so I suppose you can say that we have officially “gone viral” as they say in the biz. So, head on over there, Digg and favorite the article!!
Welcome to 2009. Whatever happened in 08 has been officially wiped clean, replaced with an odd number, and turned on its ear. We hope sincerely that your 2009 is as bright as it should be. Just a heads up that we are working on some cool stuff, including a cool valentines day project so stay tuned.
To tide you over, here are a few images we made for Ryan to give to his Mom and Sister as Xmas gifts. The first is for Mom, who is a huge Beatles/Lennon fan (hence the “imagine”) and the second is a Jack’s Mannequin logo for the little sister, who loves the Jack’s Mannequin (so does Ryan, but don’t tell anyone). We used stencils for the letters and the Jack’s Mannequin logo and we are loving the results.
